Cowing to Coach Varsity Baseball At Bucksport

first_img State budget vs. job creation – January 22, 2015 Bio BUCKSPORT — Mike Cowing, who coached varsity baseball at Bucksport High School from 2003 to 2006, is back in that position this season. Cowing, who also teaches mathematics at Bucksport High School, was named recently to replace Tiger Stewart, who guided the Golden Bucks for the past three seasons before moving to Florida. Under Cowing’s guidance, the Golden Bucks reached the playoffs each year and won the Eastern Maine Class B championship in 2003. Also approved by the Bucksport School Committee was the appointment of Josh Tripp as junior varsity baseball coach.
