Double Trouble Trail Race Challenge dates set

first_imgORLAND — Two Downeast Double Trouble Trail Race Challenge events are set for Oct. 30 and Nov. 6, the Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust and Frenchman Bay Conservancy announced Thursday.The GPMCT Wildlands Trail Race will take off Oct. 30 in Orland. It will be a 6.3-mile course on dirt roads. Registration is at 10 a.m., and the race will start at 11.The following Sunday, the FBC Autumn Trail Race will start and finish at Sullivan’s Sumner Memorial High School. It will be an eight-mile course over both paved and dirt roads. It will begin at 11 a.m.The race costs $20 and a $2 online registration fee for those who pre-register.
