FAMILY FEAR SEARCH FOR MISSING LIFFORD MAN COULD BE SCALED DOWN

first_imgThere are now fears that the search for missing Lifford man David Colhoun could be scaled down.David, 22, has been missing for more than four months now since he was last seen in Strabane on May 22nd.Despite a huge search involving the PSNI, the Gardai and hundreds of locals, there has still been no sign of David. However the family of Mr Colhoun now fear their search for their son and brother could be downscaled.A family source revealed to Donegaldaily.com “It has been four long months now and David’s family are just exhausted but they will not give up.“All they want to do is to bring David home and bury him. They accept now that David is dead.“But the big fear now is that the PSNI may not have the resources to continue with the search. “They know that it costs a lot of money to have search teams out on a regular basis,” said the source. The PSNI have said their investigation is still “very live.”In some good news for the Colhoun family, the group Searching for the Missing’ will return to look for David the weekend after next to look for the missing man.EndsFAMILY FEAR SEARCH FOR MISSING LIFFORD MAN COULD BE SCALED DOWN was last modified: September 30th, 2011 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:David ColhounPSNIlast_img
